  While they are peaceful, this fish doesn't swim with laziness. They are super active! X-Ray Tetras are schooling fish, meaning they must stay in a big group of six or more. They naturally swim together in synchronized movements, which force them to remain active.

  X-Ray Tetras are very friendly to other fish in a tank; they aren't the type of fish that makes a drama. They quickly become stressed if they have to live alone in a tank. That's how an extrovert fish looks!

  Many aquarists like this fish because they are easy to care for. X-ray tetras are an excellent choice for beginners because they are highly resistant to every type of water. In nature, these fish are found in soft water. However, they also withstand tough water, although they do best in soft.

  Since they are schooling fish, X-ray tetras are great for sticking with a massive fish community. They are friendly and easygoing, and they don't betray their friends. I called this a high loyalty characteristic.
